As an Economics major with a focus in Philosophy, I possess a unique perspective that enables me to analyze the world through a multidimensional lens. This exceptional training has ignited my passion for driving positive change in our society and environment, and I am driven to inspire others to do the same.
During my time as an undergrad, I had the privilege of conducting a master’s thesis on Renewable Portfolio Standards and Energy Deregulation. This research allowed me to educate the public on the implications of these policies, particularly their direct impact on electricity prices. The significance of this work was further highlighted when it was published right before Nevada’s 2020 election, where residence had to make decisions about the policy’s future. My ability to distill complex concepts into easily understandable terms is a skill I aspire to leverage in any industry I work in.
Upon graduating, I entered the mortgage industry and excelled as a licensed Loan Officer in Las Vegas, NV. I started my career as the only assistant to 15 loan officers in a fast-paced call center environment. Managing a volume of 30 applications per day with a high conversion rate of 100-150 loans funded monthly, I swiftly mastered the intricacies of the mortgage process. Furthermore, during the unprecedented refinancing boom brought on by COVID-19, I demonstrated adaptability and commitment to exceptional customer service.
After mastering the components of the mortgage loan process, the highlight of my job became my genuine passion for helping clients achieve their dream of homeownership. Every client has a unique story that can be derived from every loan application, and this allows me to cater to the specific needs of each person.
Beyond merely striving for customer satisfaction, I aspire to make a lasting impact within an organization and believe that my diverse background, strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex ideas in a simplified manner make me a valuable asset to any team.
