Tell me about yourself

Hello! I am Prateek. I am currently pursuing an MBA and MS in Analytics at Texas A&M University. I have diverse experience of 8 years in the energy sector while I was working for India’s top oil marketing Fortune 500 organization (BPCL).

I handled multiple portfolios in BPCL in Strategy, Marketing, and Operations. While working as Manager, Strategic Initiatives, Energy Transition, I brainstormed complex business cases in the disruptive energy transition market. One of such breakthroughs was India’s first EV corridor by my team. Before moving to the energy transition role, I handled the marketing portfolio, where driving customer value, designing marketing campaigns, and creating brand pull were my passions. My groundbreaking idea of starting a WOW outlet (women-owned and women-operated) in one of the patriarchal influenced rural areas in India uplifted the lives of 50 families, resulting in increasing market share by 1% and helping us to emerge as a caring brand. I utilized my analytical skills and problem-solving ability in all my job roles, and while working in retail operations downstream, my aptitude has helped me deliver results on time in high-revenue projects.
