Tell me about yourself

Howdy, my name is Tareq Qaraqi, I’m a business professional with a background in technology and a passion for entrepreneurship. In 2021, I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering & I am currently an MBA Candidate at Mays Business School - Texas A&M University.

 

During my professional career I have gained extensive experience in business development, operations, and management. Being a Holdings Manager in the family’s investments and holdings company, which develops various business and projects around the world, has given me the opportunity to expand my business acumen and the ability to experience different aspects of the business world. Additionally, I have gained experience in operational analysis and project management within the power engineering and solutions sector working as a Project Manager and getting involved in all different operational aspects of the company.

Some of my most notable achievements is consulting for various smaller businesses and establishing successful market entry strategies, establishing strong relations with suppliers and clients increasing revenues and reducing costs for major subsidiaries, establishing roadmaps and working with cross functional teams, and directing research for strategic planning to avoid misalignment with company goals.

What drives me is my passion about innovation, advocacy and illuminating today’s societal issues and what we can do to have positive change to the world and the goals I’m working on.

After completing my degree, I am hoping that I will be using my unique blend of knowledge and skills to give insightful looks in a consulting career while continuing my collaborative effort in developing new and upcoming
businesses.
