Tell me about yourself

After completing my undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, I served in the Army for ten years as a Military Intelligence Officer. During that time, I gained valuable leadership and operations management experience while serving in a variety of roles. I also had the opportunity to develop my analytical and strategic thinking skills in a high paced team environment. Throughout my military experience I developed interests in managing people and teams, applying technology to solve problems, and analyzing data and information to develop solutions and recommendations.
While the experiences I gained during my time in the military provide me with a solid foundation, the knowledge and skills I’m developing through the Mays MBA program allow me to continue to grow personally and professionally.
My past experiences with working in a team environment to think through complex problems to develop solutions align well with this role. I’m especially interested in the opportunity to work in the product portfolio and innovation strategy client solution areas.
I’ve seen first-hand the importance of fostering a team environment and working together towards a common goal. I’m confident that my values and experiences align well with and would be a valuable addition to your team.
