Tell me about yourself

Engineering has enriched my life with knowledge and understanding about the physical world and has instilled in me a lasting curiosity and urge to learn. I love to be involved where medicine and engineering meet as I get to
see how the design process can lead to the direct benefit of health and quality of life. It is rewarding to see news articles where, for example, a device I worked on helped a patient during heart surgery or recover from a severe respiratory disease! Aside from engineering I enjoy going on weekend trips with my wife to go hiking, backpacking, paddle boarding, or simply just to get some great footage with my drone. I am and always will be a country boy and you will never hear me say ‘no’ to some good old Texas BBQ!
