Personal Branding Statement
I have always wanted to lead technology advancement and innovation. I first pursued a technical path and I followed my interest in engineering and research. I completed my bachelors degree in biomedical engineering at Duke University and masters degree and PhD in biomedical engineering at Vanderbilt University. My PhD focused on developing technologies for personalized medicine for cancer treatment using optical imaging, quantitative analysis, and data-driven results. After completing my PhD, I started working in industry in research and development, and I developed next-generation products for digital imaging for dentistry as well as orthodontic products. I wanted to contribute to the manufacturing and production of products, and I worked in the role of quality engineer at the manufacturing site for N95 respirators. I was interested in continuing to develop my skills related to business and I am currently pursuing an MBA at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School. My background in engineering, product development, and operations combined with my education in business aligns with an internship role in technology or finance.
