I genuinely believe that success is measured by the amount of impact you make on others’ lives; I am very human-centered and, above all else, I want to help support others in every way I possibly can. I am pursuing a career in human resources because it is one of the few career paths where I would have the honor of getting to use my problem-solving abilities to support people in all aspects of their lives- during the good times and the bad, in their professional lives and their personal ones.

This summer, I had the pleasure of being the Human Resources Intern at Kuraray America, a chemical manufacturing company with over 900 employees nationwide. During this time, I had the privilege of learning from multiple centers of excellence and gained experience in everything from benefits to learning & development to talent acquisition. This experience solidified that, especially with my specific mix of interpersonal and executing strengths, metric-driven mindset, and substantial knowledge of business acumen, human resources is not only where my passion lies but it is also what I am truly good at. I am also very proud that while working full-time this summer, I earned the Society of Human Resources- Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, a globally recognized credential that reflects not only my exceptional work ethic but also my commitment to consistently expanding my knowledge base of the best human resources practices.

My goal in life is simple: I want to help people. I will dedicate every single day of the rest of my career to using the expansive business knowledge I acquired as an undergrad and during my MBA program to help businesses that make a real difference grow while continuing to build my reputation as someone who always strives for excellence and is known for the passion, positivity, and results that I bring to all projects I am involved with.
