Tell me about yourself

As a person with love for numbers and working and communicating with people, I quickly pivoted post by Bachelors in Mechanical and Automation Engineering, into Corporate Banking as a Manager and used my inate skills with numbers and communication, complimented with my urge to learn hard financial technical skills like valuation, modeling, forecasting to rise through the ranks. As the Deputy Branch Head and Credit In-charge, I was responsible for doubling the credit portfolio in under 18 months thereby helping the branch to cross the 2 billion business mark. I also developed long term relationships with a lot of corporate clients which the organization leveraged later into greater business opportunities. As a result, I was promoted in under 3 years against an industry average of 5 years.
Throughout my MBA experience, I have tried to learn to develop a strategic way of thinking and solving problems which I also leveraged during my summer internship with Halliburton as a Product Manager cum Internal Consultant. I was given the task to explore avenues to grow the business of a SaaS product by 10 times in the next 3 years. Throughout my internship, I did a lot of market research, competitor analysis, sales funnel improvement along with working on product pricing to finally come up with strategies to reach the product goals.
I would, in future love to leverage the strategic skills that I developed over the course of my MBA and my internship and the hard technical financial skills that I inculcated over my professional career and use them in a role that would help me marry both of them to understand the problem, and provide solutions in the easiest way for the organization.
